News Anchor Bit on the Face by Dog

A news anchor in Denver is being treated for injuries she suffered on live TV after being bitten on the face by a dog.

According to a 9News.com report, anchor Kyle Dyer was bitten by a dog on the stations Wednesday morning newscast.

The 9News.com report states that the dog, an 85-pound Argentine Mastiff was on the show with his owner, a Denver area firefighter, to discuss the dog recently being rescued from an icy pond.

According to the 9News.com report, Kyle is healing well at a local hospital.

The dog is being quarantined while rabies tests are conducted. The 9News.com report says that the dog is not showing signs of rabies.
