BURTON – Mark the beginning of Maple Syrup Season at a Tree Tapping Ceremony on Saturday, February 11.  The Burton Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the event from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at The Log Cabin on Burton Square (Route 87).

You’ll learn how maple trees are tapped and then tap your own.  Also enjoy free hot chocolate and donuts.
The Burton Log Cabin is a working sugar house which produces maple syrup in the spring and produces maple candy all year.  You can also purchase maple products there year-round.
