The Cleveland Cavaliers dropped a 102–94 decision to the Orlando Magic on Friday night.

The Wine and Gold managed a grand total of 33 points total in the first and third quarters, which set the stage for another fourth quarter comeback that ended in despair.

Cleveland opened the 4th quarter trailing by 19 points. They got within five points, at 97–92 but that was as close as it got.

Alonzo Gee led the Cavaliers with 20 points, Kyrie Irving scored 18, Antawn Jamison 16. Big man Anderson Varejao chipped in 12 points with 15 rebounds. Dwight Howard managed 19 points and pulled down 16 boards for Orlando.

The Magic did not have Jameer Nelson, who was dealing with concussion symptoms.

The Cavaliers only shot 36 percent. They will need a much better shooting touch when the defending NBA champion Dallas Mavericks visit Saturday night.
