An awful smell aboard a plane bound for an Australian city forces the pilot and crew to land, but the cause of the stink ended up being very common.

After a search of the front of the plane’s cabin was conducted, officials with Qantas Airlines discovered a dirty diaper was leading to the smell.

According to a Q13Fox Report, passengers and the crew of the plane were complaining of a strange smell emanating from the front of the cabin. The diaper had gotten stuck in the toilet of the plane when someone attempted to flush the soiled sample.

The report says more than 160 people were grounded for nearly an hour while the diaper was removed from the plane.
