It's the most popular song of the year: LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem."

But, when you mix in FOX 8 employees, Cleveland personalities and athletes, with a little holiday twist, you end up with the "Christmas Rock Anthem!"

It's a one-of-a-kind parody that you'll only see on FOX 8!

Fox 8 producer Jennifer Charlton is the behind the project.

She said the idea came to her at the gym as she listened to "Party Rock Anthem."

"I just thought, hey, I could turn it into the 'Christmas Rock Anthem,' and I thought instead of 'everyday I'm shufflin...' (the words would be,) 'everyday I'm shovelin,'" Charlton said, mimicking the shoveling motion we're so used to in northeast Ohio.

Charlton admitted the project took a lot of effort, and that she "ran around the station like a mad woman" to recruit participants.

"But in the end it was a lot of fun, a lot of people really got into it and I think it turned into a great video," Charlton said.

While she's looking forward to getting more sleep now that the piece is ready, she is satisfied with the outcome.

"As much time as we had to work on it and pull everything together I think it turned out to be a good piece and I hope that the viewers enjoy it," Charlton said.
