A newly remodeled Castaway Bay opens for the winter with a whole lot of holiday cheer on Friday, December 16th.  Visits from Santa Claus, choir concerts, Christmas crafts, a nightly tree lighting ceremony and, of course, appearances from Snoopy and the Gang will all be part of the festivities, which go through Wednesday, December 21st.  Santa visits continue through Friday, December 23rd.  The tree lightings continue through Christmas Eve, while a sing-along with Snoopy goes through Friday, December 30th.   New Year’s Eve there will be a parade with Snoopy, a Kids’ Dance Party and a New Year’s Eve balloon drop.  On New Year’s Day kids will love another dance party and a PEANUTS movie and bedtime story.

The year-round 38,000 square foot indoor waterpark has new carpeting in rooms and hallways, a new fitness center, plus free wireless internet in all guest rooms.  It’s always 82 degrees inside.  For more information, visit
