Brunswick Art Works welcomes artist Leslie Panfil to their meeting on January 4th.   Panfil is a portrait artist who works mostly with colored pencils.  “I think some artists shy away for portraiture because they think it’s an extremely difficult subject matter,” said Panfil.  There are definitely tricks to the trade when it comes to achieving a likeness and to me there is nothing more rewarding than capturing the essence of a person.”  This North Royalton resident also draws and paints birds and blooms.
Brunswick Art Works lectures are free and open to the public and held at 7:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month at Brunswick City Hall.  Brunswick City Hall is located at 4095 Center Rd.
