CLEVELAND-If you’re hoping for Cleveland Cavaliers tickets for Christmas, they’ll arrive just in time for the start of the regular season.

Check the 2011-2012 Cavs schedule here.

The Cavs will open at Quicken Loans Arena on Monday, Dec. 26, about two months later than we’re used to the NBA season starting.

The Toronto Raptors will be the Cavs’ first opponent.

After that, they’ll hit the road for the next two games in Detroit and Indiana.

Although half of the entire 66-game regular season will be played at home, nine of the first 12 games will be played away.

There will still be plenty of opportunities to cheer on the Wine and Gold, as there will be fifteen home weekend games (seven Friday, two Saturday and Six Sunday).

The Cavs will also play the most consecutive home games in franchise history during their nine-game home stand from Feb. 8-28.

LeBron James and the Heat will return to Cleveland during that time, on Feb. 17.

The team will also stay very busy in April as 16 games will be played in 24 days.

Single game tickets start at $10 and go on sale Saturday, Dec. 10. at 10 a.m.

Current or new ‘Cavaliers Insiders’ may purchase tickets earlier, beginning on Friday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m.

Fans who purchase a ticket to the Dec. 20 preseason game will receive a free ticket to any regular season game in January.

The Cavs will play their Central Division rivals, the Detroit Pistons, in a pair of preseason matchups.

The first game will take place at Detroit on Friday, December 16th at 7:30 p.m.
