Thief Cuts Hole in Roof to Rob Gas Station

Akron Police are looking for a person they say went to great lengths to rob a gas station.

Police say the suspect cut a hole in the roof of the Shell Gas Station on East Tallmadge Avenue on Sunday, November 13, to gain access.

It happened around 4:30-5:00 AM.

Officers say the suspect took $250 in cash, 150 cartons of cigarettes and miscellaneous tobacco products.

There are no known suspects at this time.
