    Family defends Ebola patient: She was ‘in no way careless’ in Ohio trip

    The family of Amber Vinson released a statement Sunday evening defending the nurse who was diagnosed with Ebola last week following a trip to Northeast Ohio.     CLEVELAND, Ohio — Two people were rescued by the Coast Guard after their 30-foot sailboat was grounded in Lake Erie Saturday evening.     CONCORD, New Hampshire — He was convicted of shooting his roommate and best friend. Now, his sentence has been reduced all thanks to the victim’s parents. According to WMUR, Christopher Bazar pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the 2011 shooting death of Donald St. Laurent at their home. He admitted to drinking and smoking marijuana at the time.     CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — An Amber Alert that was issued for a 5-year-old girl out of Chillicothe, in Ross County, has been canceled. Authorities say Haley Stillwell is safe after her father, Erin Stillwell, turned himself in to the Pike County Sheriff’s Office with his daughter.
