    Man pleads guilty in murder of elderly Strasburg couple, sentenced to life in prison

    COSCHOCTON, Ohio — Robert R. Clark has pleaded guilty to several charges in the murder of an elderly Strasburg couple. Clark pleaded guilty to a total of seven charges, including aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, kidnapping and aggravated arson. In exchange for his plea, death penalty specifications and gun specifications have been removed from those charges. Seven additional charges were also dropped.     Police look for gunman, look-out involved in gas station robbery

      SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — Police are investigating after an armed robbery at a gas station in South Euclid this week. According to Notre Dame College Police Department, it happened at Shell Gas Station at just before 5 a.m. Wednesday. Two men described to be college-aged are the suspects.     MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — Police confirm that a pedestrian died after being hit by a car early Thursday morning in Maple Heights. It happened at on Rockside Road at Lee Road at about 6:26 a.m. The driver of the car involved was treated and released. The incident is still under investigation.

    Cleveland Browns sign quarterback Pat Devlin

    CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have signed quarterback Pat Devlin, General Manager Ray Farmer announced Thursday. According to a release from the Browns, Devlin is 6’3″ tall and 220 pounds. He is officially in his third NFL season out of Delaware.     GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — Garfield Heights police say a man is in critical condition after being shot in the neck by an off-duty Garfield Heights officer at Marymount Hospital. Investigators say Cleveland police and paramedics late Wednesday night were taking the man to the psychiatric unit at the hospital. Police say later the man fought with the Garfield Heights officer and two Cleveland Clinic officers, even grabbing for the Garfield Heights officer’s gun.     WARREN, Ohio — Warren police held a press conference Wednesday morning to discuss the case of a missing Warren woman. Alesha Bell, 18, was last seen by neighbors on July 23.
