    Cavs fans raise over $700K for local charities through playoff watch parties

    CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland Cavaliers fans helped raised more than $750,000 for local charities during the NBA playoffs. According to a release from the Cavaliers, that sum included watch party admissions, 50/50 raffles and auctions during the playoff games. The watch party tickets were $5 each this year and raised a total of $717,000.     Semi carrying candy bars flips near Great Northern Mall

    NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — A portion of Great Northern Boulevard southbound and the ramp from that area to Interstate 480 West were closed Friday morning due to an overturned semi. Fox 8’s Patty Harken reports that a semi overturned on the Interstate 480 West exit ramp at around 7 a.m. The ramp to I-480W was closed.
