    Fox 8’s own switch roles, serve as celebrity bartenders for a good cause

    TWINSBURG, Ohio — Fox 8’s Matt Wright, Peggy Gallek and Todd Meany switched roles Friday night. They served as celebrity bartenders at Brewster’s Cafe Bistro Pub in Twinsburg. It was all part of a special event, and the money raised at the event goes to the Twinsburg VFW.

    Charges filed against driver accused of plowing into bar, injuring several patrons

    WESTLAKE, Ohio — The man authorities say stole a truck, led police on a high-speed chase and then plowed into Dover Gardens Tavern is in the hospital but faces several charges.     Police arrest woman, accomplice wanted in Elyria bank robbery

    ELYRIA, Ohio — Elyria police say they’ve arrested a woman suspected of robbing a bank Friday afternoon. According to police, it happened at about 1:30 p.m. at U.S. Bank, 455 Midway Blvd. Police say the suspect demanded money and threatened bank personnel. She was then given money and fled the bank.
