    CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner Thomas Gilson says that while the number of heroin overdose deaths was down in 2015, there’s a new “dangerous development” in NE Ohio’s illegal drug arena. Gilson said that the number of heroin overdose deaths in 2015 went down by seven percent from 2014. This represents the first decline in heroin fatalities since 2006, he said.     MANSFIELD, Ohio — Authorities held a press conference Friday morning on the disappearance and death of a 62-year-old woman known by neighbors as a quiet “cat lady” who cared for several stray animals.     Study: Sleeping in a cool room can be better for your health

    A study says sleeping in a cool room can be good for your health. Doctors at the Charlottesville Neurology and Sleep Center say temperatures above 75 degrees and below 54 degrees can disrupt restful sleep. They say a cooler room helps you fall asleep faster, give you a better night’s sleep and releases more anti-aging hormones. The study also found people who slept in a 66 degree room burned more calories asleep than resting while awake. Read more here.

    Man accused of leaving child in SUV stolen from gas station pleads not guilty

    CLEVELAND, Ohio — A man arrested after an SUV was stolen with his 3-year-old relative inside pleaded not guilty to a charge of child endangering this morning.     LONDON — An episode of the BBC crime show “Crimewatch” got a little awkward Monday night during an update about an assault case.
