    CLEVELAND — Thousands of local breast cancer survivors, community members and supporters, gathered in Public Square Sunday morning for the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. Our own Tracy McCool hosted the event, which kicked off at 10 a.m. Last year, more than 6,000 people participated and raised more than $500,000 in Northeast Ohio for the American Cancer Society.   • Cleveland police: Man, 35, shot and killed Saturday night

    CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating the shooting death of a 35-year-old man Saturday night. Police say it happened just after 8:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Whitcomb Road. The 35-year-old male victim was taken to University Hospitals in critical condition, where he died on Sunday.     FORT WAYNE, Indiana — Kittie Weston-Knauer is a 69-year-old grandmother who’d rather spend her free time on wheels. She’s the oldest female BMX racer in the country, and reportedly still winning championships.   • Moment of remembrance held for 13-month-old Conneaut girl

    CONNEAUT, Ohio — Community members will gather on Saturday to remember the life of Sereniti Jazzlynn-Sky Blankenship-Sutley, who was brutally sexually assaulted and murdered last weekend.   • Man, 60, killed in car accident near Public Square

    CLEVELAND — A man was killed in a car accident late Friday evening near Public Square, Cleveland police said in a news release. It happened just before midnight near the intersection of Superior Avenue and East Roadway. Police said a 60-year-old man crashed his car into a concrete barrier near that area.     COVENTRY TOWNSHIP — The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 17-year-old Olmsted Township boy, who was struck and killed on Interstate 77 early Sunday morning.     UPDATE: This teen has been found STERLING, Ohio — The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a 17-year-old girl missing from Sterling, Ohio. Brianna Blevins was last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt and pajama pants. She is 5’5″ and 130 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
