    LeBron’s Blaze Pizza not coming to Strongsville afterall

    STRONGSVILLE, Ohio– LeBron James-backed Blaze Pizza will not open in Strongsville, as reported earlier this week. The City of Strongsville on Friday had posted on its Facebook page that the quick-bake pizza shop was expected to be in the Commons at SouthPark in Strongsville, next to CoreLife Eatery.  The news, however, is not accurate, according to Blaze Pizza spokesperson Darla Bowen. “While we have plans to open two locations in the Cleveland area very soon, with both our Canton location opening on February […]

    Monday is President’s Day and many schools and businesses will be closed.  That’s why the Akron Zoo is offering free admission! But even more exciting than the free admission is the fact that the zoo has some new animals to check out!     TUSCARAWAS TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Canton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a violent crash that killed a Massillon man early Sunday morning.     CLEVELAND — A 12-year-old girl, who had been missing since Friday, has been found safe in Garfield Heights, Cleveland police said on Sunday. Ja’nya Mix had not been seen since about 12:45 p.m. on Friday, when she was given permission to go to a friend’s house in the 14200 block of Triskett Road, and did not return home.     Fugitive convicted of sexual assault of 2-year-old arrested in California

    LORAIN, Ohio — A man convicted of raping, kidnapping and assaulting a 2-year-old child has been arrested in California, the U.S. Marshals Service announced on Sunday. Devante Gibbs, 24, was taken into custody late Saturday night by members of the U.S. Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force.  He attempted to run, but was quickly apprehended.     CLEVELAND — Of all the days for two Olympic-champion ice dancers to visit Cleveland, it happened on Saturday, when record-breaking temperatures reached into the mid-60s!     Children, pigs and other animals removed from home in Mansfield

    MANSFIELD, Ohio — Police had to become urban cowboys to wrangle pigs and other animals from a home in the city of Mansfield in northern Ohio. The Mansfield News Journal reports that officers were making a well-being check Friday on children in the home in response to a tip.     Trent Lamar Jackson is speaking out against claims he’s been abusing his aunt Katherine Jackson. The younger Jackson appeared on the podcast “Crime Stories with Nancy Grace,” which released Monday.
