The zoo announced on Facebook Wednesday that they said their goodbyes to 29-year-old Nanuq, who was battling liver cancer.   • Local 6-year-old dancer who lost leg to strep infection faces more surgery

    CLEVELAND, Ohio — Six-year-old Tessa Puma captured the hearts of Northeast Ohio when the community learned the passionate young dancer lost a leg to an infection stemming from strep throat and the flu.     AKRON-An Akron woman is being held in the Summit County Jail after she admitted to  assaulting her young son. 27-year-old Denitra White is charged with felony child endangering and domestic violence.
