    CLEVELAND– Just hours after being crowned the ALCS champs, your Cleveland Indians returned to Cleveland. The team arrived at Cleveland Hopkins Airport just after midnight. The Tribe beat the Toronto Blue Jays in game 5 of the ALCS, 3-0 Wednesday night. Ryan Merritt started on the mound.     Akron man confesses to multiple break-ins, police say

    AKRON- A suspect has been arrested for breaking into a dozen businesses in Akron and Springfield Township. Akron police tell FOX 8 News, 33-year-old- Paul Barna confessed to breaking into and stealing from businesses over the past several weeks. Barna was arrested Wednesday afternoon after police received tips on Facebook that he was involved in the crimes. Barna reportedly confessed to breaking into several businesses including Jen’s Den, Tiny’s Bar and Windsor Pub. Paul Barna is currently being held in […]

    Man shot and killed outside Cleveland store

    CLEVELAND-Cleveland police are investigating a homicide that occurred outside the USA Food Mart on East 123rd Street. The incident happened around 8 a.m. Monday.  Witnesses said they heard multiple shots fired in the area. A 30-year-old man was shot and pronounced dead at University Hospitals. His identity has not yet been released pending notification of family. Police are currently looking for the suspects responsible. Anyone with information is asked to call Cleveland police.

    Cleveland police looking for man who tried to lure 12-year-old girl

    CLEVELAND-Cleveland police are looking for the suspect who attempted to lure a 12-year-old girl in his car while she was leaving school Tuesday afternoon. The victim told police she was riding her bicycle home from Lincoln Preparatory School in Cleveland around 4 p.m. on Hyde Avenue when the incident occurred. As the girl crossed the street near W.44th, a man driving down the road honked his horn. According to police, the girl stopped and the suspect said, “get in.” The […]

    Solon police: Mom arrested for driving drunk with 9-year-old son in car

    SOLON-An Auburn woman has been charged with OVI, following a traffic stop for lane violations. It happened Sunday, October 9, just before 8 p.m. on US Route 422. Police say 42-year-old Leigh Pustai told officers she just left the Solon Freeway Lanes and had her 9-year-old son with her in the car.
