    Police search for driver in hit-and-run accident

    LORAIN- The Lorain Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident. The crash occurred Friday on 1837 E. 34th Street around 9:40 p.m. According to Lorain police, a vehicle traveling westbound on E. 34th Street struck a 17-year-old girl in the road and took off.     BUCYRUS, Ohio — The search resumed Saturday for a missing 15-year-old girl from Bucyrus. Rebecca “Beccy” Kemper, hasn’t been seen since September 23. Her family and friends planned to meet at a Walmart in Marion to hand out flyers and canvass the neighborhood looking for her.     SUMMIT COUNTY-Facebook posts end in an emotional reunion between a local woman and her father’s remains. A key-chain vial with a small picture of an elderly man was found in the Sand Run Metro Park in Summit County back on September 22.     (CNN) — Arron Lewis, the suspect in the abduction and slaying of Arkansas real estate agent Beverly Carter, told reporters Tuesday that he pleaded not guilty to the charges only because his lawyer told him to.
