    Police: Dad pulls out gun over parking spot dispute at Medina High School

    MEDINA – A Medina man is facing charges after police say he pulled out a gun and pointed it at another parent in the parking lot of Medina High School. The incident happened as parents were picking up their children at the end of the school day. Police say an argument over a parking spot and moving a vehicle quickly escalated when the suspect pulled out his gun. Juveniles were in both vehicles.     CLEVELAND, Ohio- The Horseshoe Casino will be closing for 40 hours to transfer daily operations from Caesars Entertainment to owner JACK Casino Cleveland. The downtown casino will close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday,May 9. The casino is scheduled to reopen as JACK Cleveland Casino at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, pending OCCC approval.     Bob Evans to close 27 restaurants, lay off 1,100 employees

    WASHINGTON- Restaurant chain Bob Evans Farms is closing 27 underperforming locations and laying off 1,100 workers in attempt to boost profits. Of the 27 restaurants, 21 were company-owned and closed last week. The remaining six are leased and expected to close in fiscal 2017.     KENT, Ohio-A Kent woman is charged with OVI after driving her car off the road and into the Cuyahoga River.     LORAIN, Ohio- The Lorain County Grand Jury has indicted Summer Shalodi for the death of an 18-month-old girl who was in her care. The incident happened back in December. According to Lorain police,  officers were called to a house on Driftwood Drive shortly before 7 a.m. on Dec. 13.     CANTON, Ohio- The Canton Police Department is warning the public of a scam involving the use of movie prop money to purchase items. Police said the money doesn’t feel real and is marked “Motion Picture Use Only’ on the front and back of the bills. The fake bills were recently used in a sale on Craigslist.
