    GRAFTON TOWNSHIP-The Elyria Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that claimed the life of a 17-year-old girl. The single-car accident happened Wednesday around 9 p.m. on Capel Road, east of State Route 83 in Grafton Township.     MASSILLON- New information is being released on the tragic shooting of a local doctor that took place outside of Affinity Medical Center in Massillon Monday. Investigators say Dr.George Seese III was shot by Michael A. Wood of New Philadelphia.   • Suspect in Strongsville teacher murder appears in court, pleads not guilty

    CLEVELAND- The suspect indicted for the murder of a Strongsville middle school teacher appeared in court with his attorney on Tuesday, where a plea of not guilty was entered. Jeffrey Scullin Jr. was indicted by a Cuyahoga County grand jury last Wednesday for the murder of Melinda Pleskovic. Scullin, 20, lived with the family and was Pleskovic’s future son-in-law; he was set to marry her daughter on Oct. 28.   • Sheriff: 20-year-old man with disabilities assaulted in group home over sandwich

    AKRON-The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the allegations of violence towards a 20-year-old man with developmental disabilities inside a group home. According to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, staff members are accused of taking the victim to the basement of the facility, holding him against his will, and striking the victim several times with a broom handle back on Oct 26, 2017.     CLEVELAND- The Cleveland Division of Police have been made an arrest in a deadly hit-and-run accident. It happened Wednesday just after 11 p.m. on Woodland Avenue. Police said the victim was crossing Woodland, east of Woodhill, when he was struck by  what was described as a dark colored Sedan.
