  • UPDATE: Missing 12-year-old Cleveland boy found safe

    CLEVELAND- The Cleveland Division of Police had asked for help locating  a missing 12-year-old boy. But, Friday evening, police said Dacoreyn Drayton was located in Garfield Heights in “great condition.” He had last been seen Thursday around 2 p.m. outside of his Bessemer Avenue home. There were people out searching for him throughout the day and early evening on Friday. But, once again, he has been found safe.

    CLEVELAND- Human trafficking cases in Ohio are some of the highest in the nation. Browns Head Coach Hue Jackson and his wife have launched a new campaign in hopes of helping women involved. The organization headed up by Jackson and his wife, Michelle, will partner with the Salvation Army to provide a secure housing facility for women who have become victims of the sex trade.   • More than 100 pounds of marijuana discovered during Richland County traffic stop

    MANSFIELD – A man and a woman are facing felony drug charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized 110 pounds of marijuana during  a traffic stop in Richland County. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers stopped the 2009 Nissan Altima along I-71 back on July 13 for a window tint violation.   • Mansfield City Schools approve policy to stop student cellphone use during school

    MANSFIELD- Mansfield City Schools has voted to prohibit students’ use of cellphones during the school day. The revised policy was approved by school board members last night with a 4-1 vote. According to the district’s website, Gary Feagin cast the lone opposition vote, saying the policy will be difficult to enforce. The school wants to make it clear that cellphones are not banned.     CLEVELAND-A 21-year-old woman who suffered severe facial trauma and other complications from a gunshot wound as a teen, is recovering after undergoing a total face transplant at the Cleveland Clinic.     WARREN- A 14-year-old boy is being held in the Trumbull County Juvenile Detention  Center after an incident with his mom over a doughnut.
