    Cleveland Clinic breaks ground for new cancer center

    CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Clinic has officially broken ground for a new cancer center. Construction for the new center began Monday. Plans for the $276 million facility were announced August 14. The building will be a multidisciplinary cancer research center and handle all outpatient cancer care at Cleveland Clinic. The Clinic says the 377,000 sq. ft. center will feature natural lighting, outdoor views and was designed to recreate the perspective of cancer patients at the hospital.
