    ELYRIA, Ohio — A fire destroyed one mobile home and damaged another in Elyria on Wednesday. The fire broke out at the mobile home at 107 Eagle Circle just after 9:30 p.m. When firefighters arrived, there was a working fire below the trailer and on the main living floor.     Multiple crews respond to overnight house fire

    KIRTLAND, Ohio — Fire crews worked through frigid temperatures to fight a house fire early Tuesday morning. The fire was reported at a home at the 8000 block of Singlefoot Trail in Kirtland around 12:30 a.m. Fifteen crews responded to the 3-alarm fire and the home is a total loss. The three residents inside the home were not injured. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Crews first responded to a fire on the 100 block of Brighton Drive shortly after 1 a.m. The department says the fire was due to unattended cooking, and there were no injuries to residents.     CLEVELAND — Police are investigating a shooting on the city’s west side. The shooting occurred at the 3200 block of West 48th Street at approximately 9:30 p.m. Police say a 30-year-old woman was injured and taken by vehicle to MetroHealth Medical Center, where she is undergoing surgery.
