  • Strongsville homes targeted by spray-painting vandals

    STRONGSVILLE, Ohio – Police in Strongsville are trying to identify a vandal who has been targeting homes with vulgar graffiti. There is no connection between the homes that have been targeted, and some of the vandalism has been caught on surveillance video. Fox 8’s Jack Shea has more on this vandalism spree, above.

  • Cleveland radio icon John Webster passes away

    CLEVELAND – John Webster, a Hall of Fame broadcaster and Cleveland radio icon, has passed away at the age of 74. Webster’s stepson, Jason Fox, told Webster’s former station WTAM that Webster was living in central Florida. He had recently had surgery after breaking a hip and was convalescing at home when Hurricane Irma hit. He was without power for a week and his health deteriorated.   • Village of Wellington looking for arson suspects after huge overnight fire

    WELLINGTON, OH – A large overnight fire in Wellington now has police and fire officials looking for suspects in a number of suspicious fires. Since December of 2016, the police department reports that there have been several arsons as well as other suspicious fires.   • One dead after vehicle strikes deceased horse in Ashtabula County

    WILLIAMSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio – A Niles man is dead after his pick up truck struck a dead horse on US 322  just before 5 a.m. Sunday morning. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that the 23-year-old was traveling east on 322 when it came upon the dead horse.   • Man dies after being struck by train in Lorain

    LORAIN, Ohio – A Lorain road was closed for nearly three hours Saturday afternoon after a Norfolk Southern train hit and killed a person sitting on the railroad tracks.
