    CLEVELAND – Cleveland police have arrested one of the suspects in the robbery and shooting of a clerk at a Dollar General store. The robbery happened at around 6:30 p.m. Monday, when three men wearing hoodies tied around their faces entered the store on Miles Avenue.   • Cleveland Dollar General store clerk shot in chest, suspects run from scene

    CLEVELAND  –  A clerk in a Cleveland Dollar General store is in critical condition after being shot during a robbery. The store, at 9111 Miles Park, was robbed at around 6:30 p.m. Monday. Police say that four suspects fled the scene on foot after the crime. Zone cars are currently patrolling for the suspects. The 30-year-old male clerk was taken to University Hospitals.

    BRADENTON, Fla.  — Snooty, Florida’s longest living manatee in captivity, has died one day after a huge party to celebrate his 69th birthday. The South Florida Museum posted a Facebook message Sunday saying that the beloved manatee had died in a heartbreaking accident.     MONROE TOWNSHIP, Ohio – A 63-year-old Conneaut man was killed on State Route 7 in  Monroe Township as he stood next to his disabled vehicle.   • Diesel spill leads to massive traffic back-up on I-71

    BROOK PARK, OH  – A truck carrying diesel fuel dropped nearly 200 gallons of the substance onto a busy road Tuesday. It happened on I-71 south just past Snow Road during rush hour. The semi-truck was involved in a two-vehicle accident which resulted in the spill and the massive traffic jam. Some lanes had to be closed and drivers are being told to expect big delays.

  • Medina County homeowners told to evacuate after homes start sinking into old mine

    WADSWORTH, Ohio  – Some homeowners in Medina County have been told to get out after their houses appear to be sinking into an abandoned coal mine. The damage to their homes includes cracked and bowed walls and floors. The city of Wadsworth has deemed five of the homes in the neighborhood to be unsafe and issued notices directing those homeowners to vacate the premises Fox 8’s Jack Shea has their story in the video, above.
