Tristan Thompson out for at least three to four weeks after calf strain

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson will not return to the court for three to four weeks, according to the team.

Thompson strained his left calf during the second quarter of Wednesday night’s game vs. the Indiana Pacers in Cleveland.

He left the game and did not return to play.

An MRI Thursday morning confirmed the sprain. Thompson will now undergo treatment and rehabilitation before returning to play.
