Suspect in serious condition after officer-involved shooting in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A 22-year-old man is in stable condition after an officer-involved shooting on the city's east side.

According to Cleveland police, at 9:33 a.m. Friday members of the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Unit were serving a warrant in connection with the homicide of Dominic Rutherford. That murder happened Nov. 16 in the area of 9105 Denison Avenue.

While police attempted to serve the warrant, McKale Hill, 22, was shot by a member of the fugitive unit.

He was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

No officers were hurt.
