OAKLAND, Calif.– The Cleveland Cavaliers dropped Game 2 of the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors Sunday night, 132-113. The Warriors lead the series 2-0.

LeBron James put the Cavs on the board first. Kevin Love put up a quick 9 points to keep in close. After one quarter, Cleveland trailed the Warriors, 40-34.

The Cavaliers continued to struggle to find a rhythm early in the second quarter while not passing enough. A couple buckets from Love and Golden State turnovers brought the Cavs within 2.

At the half, the Warriors were ahead, 67-64.

Cleveland picked up momentum after the break and went on a 7-0 run in the third. But their play was inconsistent and they trailed by 14.

Despite LeBron’s triple double and a huge game for Love, the Warriors dominated in the fourth quarter with 30+ points from Steph Curry and Kevin Durant.

James passed Jerry West to become second on the all-time NBA Finals assist list. He also moved up to sixth for all-time NBA Finals field goals made. LeBron also tied Magic Johnson for all-time NBA Finals triple doubles.
