This month, we're celebrating the contributions of African Americans in Northeast Ohio with some help from our good friend and very special guest, Kym Sellers.

We are honoring Dorothy Dandridge. The actress and singer lit up the stage before moving to the big screen. After leaving Cleveland, she became the first African American to perform at New York's Waldorf Astoria hotel, and also the first black woman to receive an Academy Award nomination.
