The Bellevue Police Department reports that roads are icy in most locations.

“Some of the roadway might be clear or just wet but those areas are only in patches and disappear quickly. The roadway will return to ice before you know it,” the department warned on its Facebook page.

Police also advised people to be careful on sidewalks and other exposed surfaces, which are ice-covered and likely untreated with salt.

In Knox County, the sheriff’s department said slick and hazardous road conditions had caused multiple crashes.

Fox 8’s A.J. Colby says freezing rain and possibly sleet will change over to all snow this morning. The snowy, icy mixture is causing hazardous driving conditions.
