Police looking for missing 4-year-old girl who may be with non-custodial mom in Cincinnati area

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Authorities are concerned about the safety of a 4-year-old girl after she was not returned to her grandparents, who have custody of her.

According to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, Sophia Baase was last seen on Dec. 8 in Hamilton Township. She was with her non-custodial mom, Nicole Baase.  Police are concerned for the girl’s safety because they say the mom has a history of drug abuse.

They are believed to be in the Cincinnati area. Nicole is driving a tan 2000 Ford Taurus with Ohio license GVX2692.

Sophia was last seen wearing blue jeans, and a black hooded winter coat with pink trim.
