Lorain police looking for 3 suspects who robbed Smoker’s Outlet, threatened store employee

LORAIN, Ohio — Lorain police are looking for three suspects accused of robbing Smoker’s Outlet Store on Oberlin Ave. and threatening the life of the store employee.

It happened on Thursday, Dec. 8, at around 12:30 p.m. As the suspects walked in, one of them pointed a gun at the employee’s forehead, ordering him to the floor.

The store employee told police that the suspect yelled at him, saying if he moved, he would kill him.

The suspects are accused of taking hundreds of dollars from the cash registers. They also took several packs of Newport cigarettes, and several packs of Black and Mild cigars from the shelves.

As they left, one of the suspects took the employee’s wallet from his pants pocket.

All of the suspects are believed to be males.

Lorain police ask that you pay close attention to the clothing worn by the suspects.
