CLEVELAND, Ohio — He’s been compared to the likes of Wolverine, Grizzly Adams and Yukon Cornelius.

Scott Sabol has gotten national press over his growing beard, which has even had its own requests for autographs.

Affectionately known as ‘Scott’s beard’ in the Fox 8 newsroom, the bushy creation turned 92 days old this week.

Back during the start of the Cleveland Browns’ season, Scott vowed to grow out his beard until the team won their first game. That obviously hasn’t happened.

If the Browns pull out a win Sunday, Scott will finally be able to pick up a razor. If they don’t, we could be looking at several days more from Scott’s beard.

This isn’t the first time our favorite bearded, blizzard predictor let it grow.  One winter, he kept the facial scrub going until the temperature went above 60.  Then last year, he vowed to grow his beard as long as the Cavs kept winning.

Scott’s previous beard-building record was 74 days.
