EUCLID, Ohio — Investigators with the FBI are searching for a bank robbery suspect, who held up a Citizens Bank in Euclid Tuesday morning.

It happened at the branch in the 23000 block of Lakeshore Boulevard, around 9:40 a.m. Tuesday.

Officials say the suspect — who was wearing a black, nylon mask — walked into the bank with a gun and immediately demanded money and ordered employees to the ground.  He then jumped over the counter and forced the bank teller to the floor.

After removing money from the teller’s drawer, the suspect jumped over the counter and ran from the bank.  Surveillance video caught him hopping the fence in the bank parking lot, then possibly getting into a car.

No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is said to be about 6’1″ with a slim build.  He was wearing a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt, which was pulled up over his baseball-style hat.  He was also wearing earbuds.

Anyone with information on this bank robbery is asked to call the Euclid Police Department or the Cleveland Division of FBI.   Reward money is available for information leading to an arrest.
