Watch The Ohio State Marching Band perform ‘The Olympic Spirit’

The Ohio State Marching band delivered a gold medal-winning performance Saturday afternoon with an Olympics-inspired halftime show.

And although the games finished months ago in Rio, the spirit of competition was alive and well during the Ohio State-Michigan game.

After forming an Olympic torch, the best band in the land depicted a man throwing a javelin, a gold medal, Olympic rings and two men running a race to the tune of Chariots of Fire.

The band displayed its patriotism at the end of the performance by forming a podium, while blasting the Star Spangled Banner.  Occupying the gold, silver and bronze positions were three American flags.
