CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Hundreds of people who might have done without a Thanksgiving dinner were treated to warm meals delivered by Cleveland police officers themselves today.

Volunteers of America staff prepared the boxed meals. Then Cleveland police officers in the Second District delivered them to the elderly and to those in need.

Officers also hand-delivered meals to homeless in the area.
