It’s not ‘The Dress,’ but it’s close!

Social media is now debating the color of these flip-flops:

The photo was posted last week — and social media quickly responded.

Some think they’re black and blue. Others feel they’re black and brown. Yet others say white and gold, blue and gray or white and gray.

Buzzfeed confirmed with maker of the shoes, Havaianas, that the flip-flops are actually blue and dark blue.

But social media is still debating the true color of the shoes.

dressSimilarly, back in February 2015, the internet lost its mind after a Twitter user posted a photo of a dress asking: “Guys please help me – is this dress white and gold, or blue and black? Me and my friends can’t agree…”

Some thought the dress was black and blue, and others were sure it was gold and white.

At the time, many theorized the cones and rods in our eyes caused some people to see blue and black while others saw white and gold.

The dress was listed on Amazon as “royal blue,” which likely proves the over exposure of the viral image is what caused the disagreement.
