BRUNSWICK, Ohio -- Mel Wurm is the bakery director at Mapleside Farms in Brunswick and she is constantly creating new festive recipes.
Mel's Apple Cinnamon Pine Cone Dip is a perfect recipe for the holiday season and Fox 8's Stefani Schaefer got a cooking lesson on just how versatile this dish can be.

Apple Cinnamon Pine Cone Dip
12 oz cream cheese
6 oz. sour cream
1/4 cup apple pie filling
OR JUST USE~
1 cup dip mix of choice
(Mapleside carries a lemon Cheesecake, Strawberry and Black Raspberry as well as some savory choices as well)
Blend together and shape into a cone size shape on a tray or plate and place in fridge for 20-30
Apply almonds to resemble pine cone.
Serve at room temp with your favorite dipping tool! Like sugar cookies, animal crackers or our New Pie Crust Chips!!
PIE CRUST CHIPS
Use premade pie crust or (pie crust recipe of choice)
Use leaf cookie cutters or any cutter for that matter
Sprinkle with a cinnamon sugar dust (optional)
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 min or until golden brown
(some ovens may vary)
Let cool and serve by themselves or with your choice of dips!!!
