CLEVELAND, Ohio — A woman who was attempting to set up a memorial service for her late husband was robbed at gunpoint outside a church last month.

It happened Oct. 29 at 6:30 a.m. outside of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 6918 Detroit Ave.

Police say the woman went to the church to set up the memorial service for her husband. While she was parking in the parking lot, she was approached by a man in his 20s.

The man told her to give him her money or he would pull a gun on her. He then brandished a small black gun, which may have been a replica handgun.

He grabbed the victim and went into her pocket and grabbed her ID card, cash and the keys to her car.

If anyone has information about the crime, they are asked to call police.
