Public asked to help identify Lorain bank robber

LORAIN, OH – The Northwest Savings Bank in Lorain was robbed Saturday morning, and police and the FBI are asking for the public’s help in identifying the bank robber.

He entered the bank at 10:23 a.m. and passed the teller a note that threatened physical harm if they did not comply with the demand. The suspect is in his mid-20’s, is about 5’8″ – 5’10” tall and was wearing a pink Nike hoodie and jeans.

He left the bank on foot and no one was injured in the robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lorain Police Department at 440-204-2100 or the Cleveland Division of the FBI at 216-522-1400.  Tips can remain anonymous. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of this suspect.
