Final: Nebraska 3, Ohio State 62

COLUMBUS, OH – Sixth-ranked Ohio State was at home Saturday against 9th-ranked Nebraska, with both teams looking to stay in the college football playoff hunt. Buckeyes guard Billy Price said Ohio State was ready to play a Saturday night game at home after three Saturday evening games on the road this season.

The Buckeyes remain in contention for a berth in the Big Ten championship game and a shot at the College Football Playoff while Nebraska is likely looking at a spot in a New Year’s Six bowl game.

Both teams were 7-1 and 4-1 in conference play. The Cornhuskers, who were playing in their first top 10 match-up since 2011, needed a win to avoid potentially falling into a five way tie in the West Division. The Buckeyes were looking for a victory in order to make their Nov. 26 showdown at Michigan a game for the East Division championship.
