Man arrested, accused of selling fake stadium passes to World Series in Cleveland
CLEVELAND, Ohio– The FOX 8 I-Team has learned a man is sitting in jail for selling fake stadium passes to the World Series at Progressive Field.
He was arrested Wednesday night.
A police report shows security stopped two men coming in with fake passes.
Then police tracked down the suspect accused of supplying them.
The report shows the suspect had a pass that was blurry and had two Major League Baseball logos and the words “MLB WORKING CONCOURSE STAFF.”
Police say the man had three more passes on him, too. One said “2016 Postseason Staff” and had a Cubs logo on it.
The I-Team is watching for charges.
