Two men rob Lakewood bank – possibly with a toy handgun

LAKEWOOD, OH – Two men are wanted in the robbery of a Lakewood bank Saturday morning.

Detectives in that city tell Fox 8 that the pair walked into the Fifth Third Bank on West 117th at around 9:43 a.m. One of the men was armed with a black handgun that had a white or pearl handle. It may have been a toy gun.

The men demanded money, but there is not word on how much, if any, money they were able to take.

One of the suspects was seen in the bank on Friday. At that time, he was wearing a Black Compton baseball cap, a red and blue jersey-style shirt with the number 8 on the back and black pants with a white rim on the bottom. He was wearing the same pants Saturday when he robbed the bank as well as a black sweatshirt and black high-top tennis shoes. This suspect is between the ages of 17 and 20, is about 5’9″¬†or 5’10”, weighs between 150 and 170 pounds and has a skinny build.

The other suspect is also between 17-20 years old, the same height and weighs between 160-175 pounds. He too has a skinny build and was wearing gray sweatpants and a hoodie.
