CLEVELAND –  The newly updated “LeBron” banner that proudly flies from the side of the Sherwin-Williams building downtown is almost completely installed.

The banner was originally going to be in place on Friday, October 21, but weather delayed its final roll-out until Saturday the 22nd.

You can see crews working at the bottom of the banner in our photo gallery:

The new banner will be identical to the one that just came down, but with one subtle difference. The Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy patch will be added to the back collar of LeBron’s jersey.

Ok, it’s a REALLY IMPORTANT, yet subtle, difference.

The home opener, banner raising and ring ceremony are scheduled for Tuesday October 25th when the team takes on the Knicks.

There’s another game going on across the plaza that night too, in case anyone in northeast Ohio hasn’t heard yet.
