Investigators seek suspect in Green, Coventry Township burglaries

GREEN, Ohio-- The Summit County Sheriff's Office is investigating after several homes were burglarized in Green and Coventry Township.

The crimes are happening during daytime and early-evening hours. The sheriff's office said the suspects knock to see if anyone is home, then force open a door or window. The burglars are getting away with jewelry, phones and other electronics.

One of the burglaries was caught on a security camera. It happened shortly before 8 p.m. on Oct. 8 in the city of Green. According to the sheriff's office, the suspect rang the doorbell and later kicked open the front door.
