Tickets for World Series Games 1, 2, 6 and 7 are sold out

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Less than 15 minutes after they went on sale, tickets for World Series Games 1, 2, 6 and 7 were sold out.

Tickets for the general public were to be available online only starting at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Some fans camped out at the box office overnight and this morning after a mistake on the Indians’ website.

Joel Hammond, spokesperson for the Cleveland Indians, said one of the stories on their website inadvertently stated tickets would be available at the box office.

After hearing that fans were lined up at the box office, Hammond said the team did accommodate them.

Those tickets are also now gone.
