Pictures of suspect in fatal shooting of teen at Mr. Hero released

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed on Friday evening during a robbery at a Mr. Hero in Cleveland Heights.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office has confirmed that Sunny Ravi Patel of Highland Heights was the victim in the crime.  It happened at the restaurant on South Taylor Road, at around 8 p.m.

Officers responded to 911 calls reporting a robbery and shots fired inside the store. They arrived to find the teen with a gunshot wound to his head. He was taken to University Hospitals, where he later died from his injuries, police said.

According to a news release, Patel was inside the Mr. Hero when the suspect entered the restaurant and shot him in the head, before taking money from the register and running away.

The suspect is described as between 5'10" and 6' tall. He has a thin build. He was wearing a white rag over his face, sunglasses, a black Nike hooded sweatshirt and gray Adidas sweatpants with black and white stripes down the sides.

Close family friends tell Fox 8 that the victim was the nephew of the restaurant's owner.
