Source: Indians’ Trevor Bauer injured finger working on drone

CLEVELAND, Ohio-- The Cleveland Indians tweeted out Friday afternoon that pitcher Trevor Bauer was pushed back to ALCS Game 3 due to a finger injury.

The Indians said he suffered a laceration to his pinky finger and needed stitches. A source told our John Telich that Bauer hurt his finger while working on a drone. The source also told JT that Bauer needed 10 stitches.

Bauer is scheduled to start Game 3 at Toronto on Monday, October 17.

Josh Tomlin will now start Game 2, on Saturday, October 15.

Indians ace Corey Kluber will start Game 1 of the AL Championship Series against Toronto tonight.
