CANTON, Ohio-- President Bill Clinton stumped for his wife Hillary Clinton in Canton Wednesday afternoon.
He talked about the presidential candidate's plan to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top. Bill Clinton was joined at the Ironworkers Local 550 Training Center on High Avenue NW by Sen. Sherrod Brown.
"I think we're on the verge of the greatest period of prosperity, discovery and advancement in the history of this country, if we do that right thing," Clinton said.
"We need more manufacturing loans, we need more small business loans and more small business startups, we need more investments in science and technology," he said.
Bill Clinton is making campaign stops across Ohio to promote voter registration. The deadline is Oct. 11.
