CLEVELAND  –  Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani will be in Cleveland Tuesday as the Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association and the Ohio Fraternal Order of Police formally endorse Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Giuliani will be holding a press event as well as a meet-and-greet for CPPA members and their families at the union’s hall in Cleveland.

Fox 8 and will have full coverage of the event – stick with us for all of your You Decide 2016 coverage.

On Friday evening, the CPPA voted to endorse Trump with 216 votes over Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, who garnered 68 votes. The union doesn’t normally endorse a candidate, but two weeks ago, members voted in favor of making an endorsement this year.

Before his appearance with the police unions, Mayor Giuliani is scheduled to appear on Fox 8 News in the Morning during the 8 a.m. hour. Tune in to hear him talk about Ohio and presidential politics as well as previewing Tuesday’s Vice-Presidential debate.
