Cleveland Cavs sign point guard Toney Douglas

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed point guard Toney Douglas.

According to a release, Douglas appeared in 61 games for the New Orleans Pelicans last season, averaging 8.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 20.7 minutes per game.

He’s played for six teams in his seven-year career and has a career average of 7.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 19.2 minutes per game.

He was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers with the 29th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.
