Going out on the town once in a while could actually save a marriage.

A new study shows that couples who go on a monthly date night are 14 percent less likely to call it quits, Daily Mail reports. 

Doing things like going out to dinner or a movie helps to keep a relationship fresh and gives couples something to look forward to.

But there’s no need to overdo it. The study found increasing the date nights to once a week doesn’t make you any more likely to stay together.
