Man wanted for deadly Akron shooting

AKRON, Ohio–  The Akron Police Department is asking for help locating a dangerous fugitive.

Romeo Leonard Thomas, 29, was involved in a shooting with another car at a gas station on Copley Road on Aug. 1, police said. A passenger in the car was hit by a bullet and the body was later found on Peerless Avenue.

Thomas is wanted for murder, felonious assault and abuse of a corpse. His lasts known address is on Delia Avenue. Akron police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
