Teddy bear clinic: Kids learn lesson about going to the doctor

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio– Lots of teddy bears at school on Monday, but it had nothing to do with show-and-tell.

Doctors from MetroHealth Medical Center visited students at the Communion of Saints Catholic School in Cleveland Heights for a teddy bear clinic.

Doctors helped the children examine their stuffed animals to make sure they are healthy. The goal is to teach kids not to be afraid of the doctor and that the doctor is their friend.

The little ones also learned how important healthy foods are for your teeth.
