Amber Alert canceled: 2 children taken from Florida are found safe

CITRUS COUNTY, Florida — An Amber Alert for two small Florida children taken from their home Saturday has been canceled.

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday afternoon that Mason Williams, 1, and Rylan Williams, 3, along with their parents Ryan Williams and Stacey Williams, were found in Catoosa County, Ga.

Fox 13 reported that the children were forcibly taken from a guardian in Citrus County, Florida, by Stacey, 38, and Ryan, 29. They were believed to be heading toward West Virginia or Ohio.

Both parents are known drug users with a violent history, and the children had been placed with a guardian.

The guardian told police Stacey Williams had texted her asking to see the children Saturday evening. The guardian refused, and Stacey Williams then came to the home.

When the guardian tried to call police, she said Stacey Williams grabbed the phone from her, broke it and grabbed her face. She then reportedly took the children.
