Ashland Chief of Police David Marcelli confirmed at a press conference Tuesday afternoon that on Tuesday morning around 6:40 a.m., a woman escaped from the home in question. Upon their arrival at the home, police discovered the remains of two other people.

Later on Tuesday, officials told the Fox 8 I TEAM that remains of a body found in Richland County could also be connected to this case. Officials say the suspect alerted them to the location of that body.
