AKRON, Ohio-- School is back in session, and city officials say they are taking extra steps to make sure students are safe.

Speed cameras will be set up at two schools each day during the school year.

Police say the cameras will be moved to different locations daily.

“We want to make sure drivers go the speed limit so students don’t get injured,” said Lt. Richard Decatur, of the Akron Police Department.

American Traffic Solutions owns the cameras the city uses.

Anyone who gets a ticket will have to pay $100.
