Ashland teacher arrested on sexual battery charges involving former student

ASHLAND, Ohio -- An Ashland High School teacher has been indicted on sexual battery charges involving a former student.

According to a press release from Ashland police, Kimberly S. Siracuse, 48, of Ashland, was arrested Sept. 11 on three counts of sexual battery.

The police department's investigation into the case began March 4, according to police. The investigation then was turned over to the Ashland County Prosecutor's Office in June 2016.

The Ashland City Schools website lists Siracuse as a government/social studies/psychology teacher.
