Maroon 5 reschedules Cleveland concert date as Adam Levine gets ready to become a dad

CLEVELAND –  Babies have their own little timetables and their own little minds….it doesn’t matter if their dad is a rock star or not.

Adam Levine, lead singer for Maroon 5, is awaiting the birth of his first child with his wife Behati this month, and in anticipation of their blessed event, the band has had to reschedule seven of their concert dates – one of which was the show at Quicken Loans Arena on September 28th.

“Even when you think you’ve planned everything perfectly sometimes life just kinda happens. Soon Behati and I will be celebrating the birth of our first child and, as I’m sure you all understand, I need to be there but unfortunately this means some of Maroon 5’s upcoming shows need to be rescheduled. I know this might present an inconvenience to our fans out there and I apologize for this. I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone in the spring,” said Levine.

The show at The Q has been rescheduled for February 22, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. According to the band’s website, all the new dates will be honored by the venues.

Levine posted this video on Facebook on Friday:

Best wishes to the soon-to-be family of three.
