CRAWCROOK, United Kingdom– She just turned 105 years old and had one simple birthday wish: She asked for a hot firefighter to bring her a birthday cake.

Well, wish granted.. and then some.

Ivena Smailes, known as “Aunty Ivy,” lives in a senior care home in the United Kingdom.

Care home worker, Debra Carter, told Metro, “Ivena’s been with us for three years now, and she’s got a fantastic sense of humor… On her bucket list this year she wanted a cake delivered by a fireman with tattoos. We’ve managed to find one and the fire brigade have been fantastic about it. They were arguing over who was going to climb the ladder and deliver it to her.”

Aunty Ivy received a visit from five firefighters. One of the firefighters climbed through her third-floor window to hand-deliver the cake.

The Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service shared photos of the party on their Facebook page. They wrote:

“And all because the lady loves a burly firefighter! Congratulations to Ivy Smailes from Crawcrook who has celebrated her 105th birthday from all at Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service.”

How did Ivy like her party? She told ABC News it was “out of this world.”

Next year she’s hoping to meet Prince Harry.
