Adorable pups waiting for homes at Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter

VALLEY VIEW, Ohio — The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter will have some of its adoptable dogs at a big event this weekend in Valley View.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., they’ll be at Dog Daze 2016 hosted by Wilson’s Feed Mill, 7604 Canal Road.

There will be contests, $1 hot dogs, giveaways and more. The proceeds benefit the Dick Goddard’s Best Friends’ Medical Relief Fund.

The shelter is located on Sweet Valley Drive in Valley View. It’s open Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4:30 p.m.

Adoption fees at the shelter are $95. The adoption fee include the dog license, microchipping, first set of vaccinations, spay/neuter and rabies shot.
